2008 Festival: May 16 - 18

Welcome to the Chequamegon Bay Birding & Nature Festival -- a weekend of birding and nature activities on Wisconsin's south shore of Lake Superior at the peak of spring migration. This year's festival will take place from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18, 2008.

The Chequamegon Bay area is among the best birding destinations in the Midwest, with a wide variety of habitats hosting nearly 300 bird species. Abundant public lands and extraordinary natural beauty provide visitors with unparalleled nature watching opportunities in this exceptional area of northern Wisconsin.
